The Recognition of Professional Competence allows the fees of the recognised entity, relating to projects involving Research and Development (R&D) activities in the recognised scientific or technological field(s), to be eligible under SIFIDE II applications to be submitted by their clients.
Recognition is valid until the eighth financial year following that in which it was requested, pursuant to n.º 2 do Artigo 37º-A do Dec. Lei n.º 162/2014 de 31 de outubro, as currently in force. Entities whose good repute has been recognised for more than 8 years are subject to reassessment.
Private companies of any size, taxed by IRC and developing research and development projects.
The application can be submitted at any time on the SIFIDE platform.
Through projects in collaboration with companies and entities of the National Scientific and Technological System (SCTN)
For the recognised entity, it is guaranteed that its fees, relating to projects involving R&D activities in the recognised scientific or technological field, are eligible under the SIFIDE applications of the respective clients
Contributions by companies to investment funds, public or private, aimed at financing companies with Recognition of Professional Competence in R&D are eligible under SIFIDE.
